Live Nite Events is excited to announce a partnership with Salt Lake City Weekly and KRCL to begin hosting a new live music series at Soundwell SLC. Hive Live will showcase up-and-coming talent from throughout the state on a monthly basis and act as a development platform for local bands and singer/songwriters alike. Each installment will additionally feature vinyl listening sessions between live sets curated by local producer/DJ Finale Grand of FOUNTAINavm Records along with a different local brewery partner each month to showcase Salt Lake’s growing craft beer scene.

Kicking off the launch of Hive Live on Thursday, July 25th are Indie-Electronic four-piece Moodlite, Blues-infused singer/songwriter Christopher Parker (performing with his three-piece band), and R&B/Soul singer/songstress Nadia Gold.

The second installment of Hive Live will take place on Saturday, August 17th – featuring local throwback Neo-Soul favorite Joshy Soul & The Cool, one-man funk band extraordinaire Simply B (also the frontman of SuperBubble) and soulful bohemian World/Folk singer/songwriter and storyteller Mavi Blue.

The third scheduled showcase as part of the initial Hive Live rollout will take place on Thursday, September 5th – featuring multi-instrumental musical powerhouse Talia Keys & The Love, Folk-Hop LGBTQ activist and advocate Shea Freedom and Folk/Americana singer/songwriter Sarah Little Drum (of The Backyard Revival and Year of The Dog).
