The compositional framework was based on melodic themes, various modes, and improvisation. The live score was a combination of predetermined ideas and matching action to what was happening on the screen. The soundtrack revealed elements of Minimalism, Free Jazz, Hardcore Punk, Ambient, and various World music inspirations.

Ye Olde Destruction, features some of skateboarding’s most legendary riders and most creative artists and photographers – all caught through the distinguished lens of some of skate and surf’s most prolific filmmakers. The movie is really about capturing sessions and the movement of life and happenings in these situations. The Film is presented in brutal but somehow dreamscape - ish editing style.
